Meet Dr. Kristie Cheng, DDS, MD
Dr. Cheng originally grew up in Utah before moving to the Pacific Northwest, where she quickly fell in love with the region and the strong sense of community it offers. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Washington and was drawn to oral and maxillofacial surgery because of its profound ability to change patients lives, whether through restoring smiles, reconstructing facial trauma, or correcting skeletal deformities that impact both function and confidence
A Surgeon Shaped by Experience —
Dr. Cheng continued her advanced training at the University of Pennsylvania, where she earned her medical degree (MD), completed a General Surgery Internship, and finished her Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency. She is excited to return to the Pacific Northwest and join Kitsap OMS, where she values the practice’s commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care. Her goal is to create an environment where patients feel comfortable, safe, and supported throughout their treatment journey while receiving exceptional surgical care and personal attention.

Outside of work, Dr. Cheng enjoys trying new restaurants, cycling, traveling, and spending time on the water. Most of all, she loves spending time with her husband, Andrew, and their dog, Theo.
